Now, having your comment here (who I usually associate with Twilight), I can almost see Jacob carrying Renesmee away from her parents, just before the Volturi's attack. I don't even remember if it really came to this separation or if they had just the TALK about it... Anyway, this would be a perfect allusion, don't you think so??
