Ok, some may had been asking how I work. Thus, that's how MY kind of "magic" is done: (PS: I increased the contrast & descreased the lightning here in this pic to show you my thin rough lines)
1st) Being emotionally touched by.... sth. 2nd) Try to get an image of this emotion 3rd) Create a REFERENCE* of this image of #2 4th) Rough copying of my ref 5th) Drawing all the little details on my rough drawn paper 6th) scanning, opneing in PS and erasing all the dust and hair 7th) try to get light, depth, contrast ot nothing changing, whatever 8th) upload and wait patiently for comments, search for answers that meet my emotions or challenges about improvement
Sometimes I skip #3, rarely, but then, you can see it
*nothing without a REF!!
PPS: Yes, this new 3rd face on the right is going to be Peeta, isn't it obvious!??? *crazy laughing*
It depends. Here I did take these roughly copied lines. Here, I didn't: [link] + [link] You can see that the proportions are not 100% correct in the non-copyied drawings It's a damn hard work and sometimes, when I wish a pic to be PERFECT in my eyes, I do the lines. Both bring me closer to get to know proportions better, but I feel, of course, more proud, when I do EVERYTHING on my own (eg working with no ref AT ALL!!) and get a satisfying result How do you work??
